shouldn't be... CCleaner does things different than most other programs I've ever used.

I just ran CCleaner pretty good little app very small and so fast but still get System Mechanic on bootup.

using the CCleaner program, go to Tools, the just to the right of that click the Startup button thingy, then remove any programs you do not want to have startup. Click the line and Remove entry.

Alternatively you can go to Start, Run..., type: msconfig, go to the startup tab and do the same thing, remove the checkmark for the System Mechanic.

I don't see anything from Iolo (Sysytem Mechanic)

Then it may help to go to their website and download/install a trial version... then turn around after it is all done and uninstall it to see if that removes all the extra stuff left behind

I think I'm gonna send my laptop back It's still under warranty the thing is I just got it fixed and it took 6 weeks before I got it back from Future Shop.

if thats the case they must have installed something along those lines and failed to remove it properly.

I just flip my laptop on it's back to find the serial number and I think the fans was stopped. Plus my mouse just died I think it might be the USP ports how could I check that?
