Well, it's actually ServicePack1 that has the large drive support. But you need SP1 installed in order to have SP2 installed, so I guess SP2 should cover it.

What operating system are you running Kniterider?

I thought you would need to separately install the 48bit addressing with SP1? they didn't include it until SP2 I thought

Hey Screwball,

Thanks for all your help. FINALLY!!!! the hd is working as it should. All 250gb are available to me. I left it in an external case though, I don't want to mess with a good thing.

Hey Screwball,

Thanks for all your help. The drive is working fine now. I'm not sure what happened, but I gave up on it last night and came back to it this morning and low and behold it was reading at full capacity. I've kept it in an external case and I'll probably leave it like that.
