| sorry storm, Unfortunately it was. I have 5 of them here the only one that showed any promise was is the Asus Crosshair. but my 5000+ was killed by a bad DFI 590SLI board so I have not been able to test it out properly yet. | I'm Diggin it! | Heh, sorry brother. I tried three different makes of the 590 SLI. It was horrible. Overclocking sucked, memory handling sucked, voltage regulation sucked and by and large, support for it was so short lived as to be almost non-existent. Kinda like Intel knocking out the 975 and then the 965. The 590 was a holdover for the 680i series. IMHO, all four of those chipsets could have been a lot better than they were/are. Me, I'm really looking forward to the X38's coming down in price. I think this will be my next chipset. | I'm Diggin it! | Is it a persistent problem even when disabled? That is, of course, one of the first things I turn off when setting up a BIOS for the first time.
