Good point. I'll remove components and package them seperately then.
Still have the original box for the antec case, and it has nice foam supports.
I'll remove the Video card/HSF, and the CPU/HSF and package them seperately.
Thanks!!!!!

Make sure your buyer is capable of putting it back together before you ship it taken apart. You'd be surprised how helpless some people are.

I'd just keep the CPU in the socket, nothing wrong with that. Because, if the buyer doesn't know much about computer building and stuff, he could ruin the proc trying to put it in if he's not careful.....
Lol, if ya catch my drift there.....

Good luck with the auction man!

This why I was thinking of putting some knid of filler inside the case. I'm worried that some dope is gonna ruin the CPU/GPU and blame me for it!

When the CPU is in the socket, it ain't gonna go anywhere.
But you do have a good point.
So it might be good to take out the CPU for shipment (and of course take the GPU out).

No you're right. Not the CPU itself, I meant the HSF for the CPU. It's kinda tight in the case, and hopefully the buyer won't tighten the HSF down too much and crack the motherboard.... *sigh*

Personally I would just leave it all together. You could fill the inside with balled up newspaper or something, and make sure you have a ton of padding around the system, and you'll be ok.

Taking it apart for the buyer to put together is just asking for trouble, as they could easily screw it up and start demanding refunds, etc...
