| We take both criticism and positive comments very positively | no, with the 4-5 on their way, i should be good to go. I'll be headed to Frys to pick up some inexpensive cases, and then its just a matter of getting a few kits of DDR2 and a few (4-5) PCI-E video cards. | HL's Technomancer | Got everything organized, some of it needs to be cleaned up but it's all working and good. Found a perfect sized box so shipping won't be a killer, but how would I go about sending off the GPUs? My last anti-static bag went off to screwballl, so is there a way to pack em without worrying about damage in transit? |

| Colonel Calamity | Theres been times that I wrapped something in a paper towel and then the 2nd or 3rd layer put a clothes dryer anti-static paper thing (Bounce, snuggles, whatever) and have never had a part arrive DOA due to static. Your mileage may vary. ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. |

| Nehalem | I will be having some parts such as an older compaq case, maybe a cd drive, floppy drive, older mobo(474??) I also have a web cam with software disc.maybe some other items...have to see what I dont need for sure for the new build...after that, the rest is yours for this awsome cause if you could use it.If not it will go to an auction site.Im pretty sure I wont need anything but maybe a wire/cable if anything from aforesaid items.Let me know when you can. I would be more than happy to donate what I can. I have anti static bags here,1 or 2 anyway if ya need them as well. Last edited by oldman_gamer; January 5th, 2008 at 17:26. Reason: added |
