| Ok there is a problem... Blake knows about this, so now it's time for you guys to know. I was about 65-70% done my Photoshop guide, and it was coming along beautifully - took a helluva lot of work - but was turning out awesome. So I leave for two hours to meet a friend, and I come home to see my entire personal folder messed around with. I had kept a backup of it, but that hard drive crashed, and I was actually going to format it for backup as soon as I got home (I was in a hurry). When I checked my Photoshop guide to actually do some more work on it, it was corrupt. It wouldn't open. No matter what I tried - system restore, restarting comp, safe mode, anything - the file's gone. I'm actually completely enraged from the incident until this point in time, but there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. I feel really disappointed about not being able to get this guide out for you guys by the end of this month (it's literally simply impossible, considering it took a little over a month to get 70%). Obviously it's understandable to get pissed off for the hard work it took me to get there, but that doesn't matter to me as much as the fact I can't get it out for you guys. The answer is yea...I'm going to start a new one - ASAP. But before I start a huge one, I'm going to start a mini-guide in a thread, and maybe update it with little tips and fragments of the HUGE guide. This will ensure: a) you guys get information on a regular basis b) my huge guide can't get lost to the point where I have nothing left That seems to be the best way to go. I'll add good tips, procedures, and tricks. Also, we can have a pretty simple request system going on - like if there is something in particular within photoshop you'd like a guide on, I can make it. Rather than trying to generalize a huge guide, we can do it that way. I'll have this thread and the first mini-guide up sometime next week. Thanks guys, and sorry for all this, Jon | ||||||||||||||

| Here's my Official Photoshop Guides thread. Going to be adding to it soon. ANYONE can add to the thread if they want - my goal is to put together a whole bunch of "mini-tutorials" on how to do certain things in Photoshop. For example, the first guide there is how to make a gradient. Things like that! | ||||||||||||||

| I've been so busy lately that I haven't found time to finish my HP iPAQ or 2 different headphone reviews. I am about 50% done the iPAQ one, so it should be ready to add to the forums. Update: Why didn't you mods say this forum was moderated? I posted a review twice, but one the images don't work. Remove that one and keep/approve the other. TIA! ![]() Last edited by WhiteEagle; July 27th, 2007 at 19:55. Reason: update | ||||||||||||||
