I don't remember. If I got time i'll try to check the brand, it's in one of my drawer under a pile of papers. And yeah it was rather expensive, something like $70 canadian.

Good Lord! That thing IS HUGE! The mouse looks so small on that behemoth!

Thats a possibility, but remember that it is aluminum and probably a top of the line product.

looks good, the size is the only real turn off for me as my deskspace is very limited until I step into the LCD arena, which will not be anytime soon due to $$$

For those of you that have smaller desks, steelseries does offer their pad in smaller sizes.
