| why don't you slap it on your 8800 ultra (same way as the SI97 I used on the 6800) and with a little voltmod get to maybe 800 core? I would of already get a card but for me thats not enough. I have to change my whole outdated setup of the D830 and mobo and RAM so they wouldn't be a bottleneck for the card ![]() Main rig: Chieftec modded case,MSI P4N Diamond, D830@3.48Ghz,1.4V,928FSB 2GB patriot Extreme Performance 6400@900Mhz, 4-4-4-17 Inno3D 7900GT@542Mhz/1.6Ghz, Thermalright SI-97 Samsung 320GB, Maxtor 250GB; Antec 500W Swiftech NB, Asus StarIceBlue CPU cooler; XP Pro Laptop: Dell XPS 1530 (T7500; 3GB 667 RAM; 160GB 7200rpm HDD; 8600GT; Vista 32bit) my 6800LE mod |

the duo orb is out of the question. even the accelero is better and if I do an extreme mod than we need extreme measures, so yeah the thermalright looks good but I will look around for any other (maybe better?) alternative ![]() of course as I said I will have to put together a new rig first, which now is possible since I got back home and have little more time on my hands ![]() Main rig: Chieftec modded case,MSI P4N Diamond, D830@3.48Ghz,1.4V,928FSB 2GB patriot Extreme Performance 6400@900Mhz, 4-4-4-17 Inno3D 7900GT@542Mhz/1.6Ghz, Thermalright SI-97 Samsung 320GB, Maxtor 250GB; Antec 500W Swiftech NB, Asus StarIceBlue CPU cooler; XP Pro Laptop: Dell XPS 1530 (T7500; 3GB 667 RAM; 160GB 7200rpm HDD; 8600GT; Vista 32bit) my 6800LE mod Last edited by sbohdan; April 27th, 2008 at 12:46. | |

| Modder-ator | I love my Accelero S1 and would highly recommend it to prettymuch anyone with a card compatible with it. You can run it passively in almost any situation, but you can easily get the Turbo Module or mod fans onto it for more performance. The Thermalright HR-03 GT with a high-powered fan is probably the best around right now, but for price, performance, and versatility, it's really hard to beat what the Accelero S1 has to offer. |
