| Packers Fanboi | Not a whole lot, the case material for the candles doesnt hold up very well, and it breaks. And if you try cooling the glass with water or phase change or dry ice or a cat, well, it just makes it break even faster. I think the trick will be to replace the standard jar with something that will hold up better, maybe some exotic carbon fiber and gold blend, like you see in the engine bays of good cars. Something that will allow increased heat inside the jar without causing undue breakage or a fire (and without heating up the whole room too). ![]() e6300@3.33ghz|Asus P5k-e WiFi| 4gb OCZ ReaperX|2x 3870's|1.3tb storage space|MSI tv tuner. |

| A Lonely Geek | My wife makes candles (and handcrafted toiletries). I hate the smell of most all scented candles, except ones that smell like chocolate chip cookies baking...of course, I hate them too, cause they make my mouth ready for some freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. Probably the most popular is Kudzu...I usually have to leave the house when she makes Kudzu candles...it smells like rotten grapes to me. Probably the only scent I actually like is patchouli, the real essential oil, not poorly copied artificial versions. You old guys know why. |

But yes, I love Yankee candles as well. My wife loves to burn them during our... intimate times. ![]() | |

| Super Moderator | April is on the way - we really need some top notch Candle benchmarks ASAP. And none of these low performing candles either. This is important - as I pointed out, gaming rigs are taking so much power from the wall now that you can't afford to turn on a light or lamp. That's wattage that could be used to power graphics cards! Get crackin' folks! I want temperature stats too! Last edited by MantaBase; February 25th, 2008 at 17:48. |

| I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal. | Hmmm - maybe we should do a cost/performance write-up of regular hygiene versus long lasting candles. |
