Welcome and I will probably be the only one to say this, Congratulations on the divorce. Having been through one myself I know how bad it can be, but once you recover from it, it’s like having a whole new life. The unfortunate part is that there is a kid involved, I had two with my ex-wife, and even to this day it’s a challenge. Get your finances straight, take your time, have a little fun, and keep your relationship with your kid, and I bet you will be happier in the end.

Welcome man, I'm really sorry to hear about everything you are dealing with right now....thats a lot of negativity for any one person to juggle.

We have a pretty tight community here, the only requirements are patience and a good sense of humor.......Hopefully HL will be a little escape for you, and you'll have fun.

Thanks so much everyone for the unbelievable support you guys have shown.

Working on getting my finances back, selling the cars, paid off the ring, victoria's secret, target, and working on the master card. Went $8500 upside down on my Infiniti G35 when I sold her. I am driving her old car since she decided to quit paying the note. It's a 2006 Mazda 3S but for some reason I really do not enjoy driving it. Maybe it's because SHE USED TO DRIVE IT AND IT REMINDS ME OF HER!!!!! CONSTANTLY!!!! AHHHH!

Anyways...

Heya and welcome! Sorry it has taken this long for me to welcome you. Not being able to access this site from work and 75 hours work weeks have been kicking my ass. But I got half a day off today, so am catching up.

Happy Birthday to your daughter! Divorce really sucks. No personal experience, but have seen quite a few of them play out. Sorry you're in that position in the first place, but since you are there, good luck!

You will find this site very rewarding.Happy birthday to the little one as well.As far as your sep/div.....you will survive.It will take time to get back to the norm.I went through it and had 3 children.I have more toy's than most men now.Divorced after 7 yrs. apart for 3 years and remarried the same woman......together now for a total of 24yrs. Better than ever too I might add! Well good luck with everything and take it 1 day at a time.
