| Any moderators around?? both of my replies in the "general computing" section is held over for moderation before it can be posted. I posted one yesterday that's still not up yet. I don't know if I'm using a "red flag" word or something. I think 3 posts so far have been moderated. Do I have to post a certain number before that's turned off? Sometimes it does it, sometimes it don't. Yellowhello.....I know a little bit...not to much. I'm not too big into overclocking, but I heard the 6600 would be better at getting 2.8 or 3.0 without getting hot or anything. short answer....I don't know. LOL. | Modder-ator | I think it may be a combination of your low post count and the fact you are posting links. It is probably a special permission set up in an effort to reduce the amount of spammer posts and threads. But as always, there are false negatives. I could only find one moderated post, so let me know if there are any others ![]() Last edited by gvblake22; June 8th, 2007 at 13:50. |

| Scott, you are right about the E6600 reaching higher clock speeds easier, but that is just because it is simply a better CPU to start with. Both the E6320 and the E6420 have a 4MB L2 Cache, just a lower clock speed than the E6600. In case you don't know, the more cache, the faster the CPU is. It's just like having more memory for your CPU (I think.) Anybody, PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong, don't want to be giving out false info. | Yellohello, No, I didn't know that about the cache. I thought it was primarily the processor speed that was the bigger factor. Thanks! GVblake22....thanks again dude! I wrote to the number 2 hombre. Wow, I just seen my monster post. oops, sorry....it didn't seem that long before it posted. I hope people read enough of it to help me.
