It's been my experience that for every 10 active members, there's one that looks through the forums and reads a lot, but hardly ever posts. AKA: The Lurkers.

I think this place is doing extremely well given its age. One of my motorcycle forums has about 1500 members with 100 being active. It took 3 years to get there and two other forums folding.

when i think "Lurker", i think old lady at a casino lurking around machines......not you guys that come to the forums to read without posting very often.
I think we need to work on generating good topics and discussions, thats the best way to make the site grow and get more people involved.

Right. As much as I want to be a post whore, there aren't very man new threads per day. I think the most threads we get are in Members Lounge.
