Tt Matrix VX: A HardwareLogic Mod!

WOOHOO!! My fans and fan grill arrived today!


All of the fans are Thermaltake "Thunderblade" Red LED (three 120mm and one 80mm) with red sleeving and orange heatshrink. The fan grill (also 120mm) is black mesh that matches the front of the Matrix VX case:

This will be going over the top blowhole fan.

Much more modding to be done this weekend, stay tuned!

holy crap! LOL No wonder I was so confused about your project... because I kept thinking it was all one project! LOL That's pretty dang sweet. I wish I could do that kind of stuff... but I'm 100% untalented in arts and crafts department lol. I once didn't even turn in my art project at all because I was trying to draw a little girl and it looked like a demon, and I was too embarrassed to show it LOL

Nice cutting on the plexi Blake!!! What the heck did you use to cut it though?

I have a hard time cutting a strait piece of plexi!!!!

Actually I have a hard time making a straight cut on acrylic too! That's why those flames weren't *too* bad

I used a coping saw for all of the cuts and then sanded all the edges. The sanding actually took longer than the cutting. That little side project should be finished up tomorrow, so I will make another thread about it soon
