| Modder-ator | Yeah, I'm pretty sure I just accidentally got it on ever so slightly too thick in those spots because it dried in a really hot pole barn for a few days. Coats went on very thin too, it was just one of those things that happens because I have no experience painting. Live and learn! Anyway, in better news, I got those spots sanded down and re-painted correctly. I let that all dry again and I finally took the masking tape off and assembled the painted pieces to see what they all look like together. I have to say I am pretty pleased with the results so far! :D ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Still some detailing work to be done on a couple things, but other than that, the painting is basically done. Next is to start cutting the thing up!! EDIT: And the coolest part about living where I do (back in the sticks in the middle of nowhere) is I get to see stuff like this: ![]() I saw this guy on my way out today, thank god for my 10x optical zoom! 8) |

I told you I am bad at starting storytelling from scratch!! :roll:I think this might have been the one we heard though ![]() As for the project progress, it is on hold for a little bit until I can get through my review article. I am also going to be in the process of moving soon (yet again), so that may delay things further. Just hang tight, I won't forget about it

Seriously, I've modded every case I've had since the very first. It is all a learning experience so don't expect anything spectacular your first time around. I'm still making lots of mistakes and learning new ways of doing things. I think it's lots of fun and you can always make your cases the way you want. It always seems like with cases that if you want it done right, you have to do it yourself!

You should also check out this deal if you are looking for a good case on the cheap that you can cut up and mod. The first major hurdle to moding designing a plan. It takes a while to come up with something that looks cool, yet is still functional (or even possible). As always, if you ever have any Q's of anykind be sure to ask! Oh yeah, thanks for the compliment yuri
