| Man 1st i was waitin on the IC7 to test, then went to microcenter for my friend's build and found the P5K-Green there for 135, browsed the internet and saw the E3110 (E8400 xeon brand) on sale for 190 and bought it. Then back to microcenter after working overtime to look for a new CPU cooler since i was interested in the Scythe Ninja Copper and found a ThermalTake V1 available for 50 and snatched it up, then saw blake's case offer and jumped on that, now yesterday went to microcenter and picked up a Q6600 for my brother and saw they has the Corsair 520HX for 93.99 AR (10 dollar rebate) so ended up buying that. Talk about a total overhaul of my system. My sig should just have a warning that "subject to change without notice" Guess this is what it means to be a computer addict. Now if i can just get over my hesitation and learn properly how to OC and Watercool, i'll be a true addict =D Oh and yes i know parker and yellow have been WCing, feel free to call me a pansy =D |

| Colonel Calamity | I'm the type that likes to set it and forget it... too much maintenance involved with WC for me to make that jump... I like to be able to open my case every few months and used the canned air to clean it up and then close it back up. ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. |

| Modder-ator | Thanks Thomtom! You'd be surprised how easy some of this stuff is. I'm not going to say painting is so easy a cave man can do it (regardless of the fact that they really did paint), but with a little patience and experience, you can do a lot more than you would expect with a couple of the right tools and some creativity/imagination. If you've got some ideas for a project, let us know and we'll help walk you through the process of realizing your dream and making your ideas come to life! ![]() |
