Haha, thanks guys!
I think I'm going to leave the expansion card slot covers their native silver/chrome color to help match the power buttons and the chrome acorn nuts around the exterior.
And yeah, it does sort of remind me of a Fatal1ty case!

As for right now, it's basically finished. I still want to at least get a HardwareLogic logo or something on there somewhere, but haven't decided on the best way to go about it...

Carve the HL logo out of the skull of your victims... or use paint. :P
A nice emboss like logo would be great in my opinion.

I'd say for the logo, just tape it off and etch it with a Dremel on the window side panel. You'll get that nice frosted look.

That's actually a very good idea! It will be considered

Superb took me a while to read it all. I'm subcribe to 3 or 4 other sites and see all the new pics of moded case when the come out. 'DIY-Street' 'XS' come to mind first You are most definitely on par with some of the best modders out there. Great work! and thanks for sharing. I'll be scratching my head over the button to open the CD-DVD ? rom and let ya know if I think of something. I did think of maybe blackening out the transparency of the front 120 fan with the HL shinning threw... might be cool!

Thanks owcraftsman! Good idea on the lighted HL from the fan, but I'm not sure how it would look through the mesh in the front. Maybe it would work better on the inside of the case over the rear exhaust fan. Anyway, I've got other more current/pressing projects right now, so I need to finish those first before I can come back to this one. For now though, it's essentially finished.

Yeah glad you like that but I got to thinking after I took a closer look at your config that it might not work out well. Maybe a more likely placement would be in the side panel handle. It has enough holes to outline the 'HL' in dbl width again blackening out unneeded holes. On the curve as they (holes) are it would look pretty cool especially if a red lighted fan could highlight/backdrop it. Just a thought for future project.
