In a PC Repair Shop I worked in a few years ago, we set up a Test Station with a Motherboard, PSU, FDD, and HDD monted on a piece of plywood, hanging on the wall. This came in handy for quickly testing componants. This was back in the Socket A days, so 90% of the CPU's we tested were Socket A. It was a pretty slick setup.

lol I am just trying to save some desk space but I can see how that would help out alot.

I'm sure it'd be very easy for it to a grounding problem with that setup. That's what I'd check first
