| You can actually find out the rules of the competitions at IASCA - The Standard by Which Great Mobile Electronics Performance Is Measured and yes most of it is just insane loud distortion but for the rookie classes most of them still sound verry well. My rig has a total of 14 optima bateries runing off 2 alternators as well as some 4 pack capacitors before every amp. As far as total distortion though Lots pride their systems on great sound quality at extreem levels, I had to add 8 component sets allong with 6 eight inch subs just to make it all sound right. The competitons really are fun especially watching the pro comps hiting upwards of 170dbs. MB... A8N32-SLI Deluxe. CPU.. Dual Core AMD Opteron 180 2.4GHz Ram.. A-DATA Vitesta 2GB (2 x 1GB) 4gb total PSU..550W ATX2.01 (Rosewill) Graphics.. Evga 7600gt HDD.. WD caviar se Optical drives.. 2x LITE-ON Black 20X DVD+R... OS.. Vista Premium (32 bit) |
