i like no bends, but with two bends it would help get some airflow underneath. you could mount a fan uner there if theres some room not taken up by the motherboard

I don't know alot about this project, but I guess if he stretches the "no bends" far enough it's make some proper airflow too. Chances are it will also be more sturdy than 2 bends given how the weight will be applied.

There really isn't any air flow issues with this as it is all on the outside of the case and the motherboard and components are all on the inside. I will probably use 3/16" thick acrylic for the frames and I think it will be strong enough as long as I don't make the length of material after the bend too long and put the feet at the end. That probably doesn't make any sense, but basically, I think it should be strong enough. If for some reason it isn't, I will just have to move up to .25" thick acrylic instead.

Hows about 1 bend per piece.. At the bottom only to form the feet...
The top would be flush with the top of the case.

Not a bad idea actually. I guess I just wanted to keep it symmetrical.

It does make sense, I get what you mean. That's why I said it would probably be sturdier with no bend than 2 bends.
1 bend is not a bad idea.

More wierd? LOL, I don't know.

Anyway, I think it's down between no bends, one bend just at the bottoms, and two bends per sheet. I'll just leave it a suprise from here on out what I end up doing, but I'm still open for suggestions

4 bend looks weird too IMO. The corners will look very akward, unless you could "link them" and make them round.

Yeah, and I think that would be very hard (if not impossible) to do.
