More Technical Questions:

I assume you used 6/32 - 3mm (M3) motherboard standoffs.......when you drilled and tapped the holes.....

What size drill bit did you use?.......i was thinking a 5/32 and then a 6/32 tap bit.....

And for the cubes....did you just drill out a 3mm hole and use your 3mm x 10mm screws....

I realize these are real simple questions...but I am really new at this and hoping I can save myself from making mistakes!!!!

There is no stupid question!

I'm actually not sure what size drill bit it is that I'm using to drill the holes for 6/32 tapping. I just went to the hardware store and got the tap and asked them what size drill bit I needed and they said, "oh, you need these ones up here..."
But according to this table, it is a 7/64" or number 35 drill bit. That sounds right though, maybe Jokerswild can chime in with his machine shop experience and knowledge.

With the cubes (which, as you can see, I'm not using anymore), I just picked out a drill bit that the 3mm and 6/32" screws would fit through easily without there being much slop. I'm not even sure what size bit it is to be perfectly honest. Some modder I am!

I'm a big geek and read geek websites all day, so I know where the goods are. And if I don't know or can't remember, Google never lets me down!

HAHA, you are absolutely right Lead Head...

I tried before to get the caps off and the cap broke so I was afraid to try it again. But I just tried it now and it came off perfectly and it would have indeed been MUCH easier. Will definitely remember this for the future. Infact, I might just redo that SATA power cable completely...

looking great so far...

IF I was doing this I would make it enough room to fit a DS3 and the Scythe Ninja but thats just me...

Thanks HL and Corsair!
