Yeah, I am really excited about that thing too. Gimme a month or so to get these current projects finished up and I'll put that heat gun to good use! :D

Anyway, here is what the painted handle looks like. This is only two coats and I think I might have to do another because this one is still kindof rough. But I don't know, we'll see how motivated (or unmotivated) I get...

Not this one, I think I will take my time and wet sand this coat to prepare it for the final coat... If I get motivated enough that is

Patience is key when painting but I'm sure you know that. Wetsand between coats and let each coat cure for atleast 24 hours before putting the next coat on.

I like those transparent green things on the drives. It looks cool :-) If you don't have plans of it already, you should definetly paint those beige bezels though

Those are just spare drives used for templates. I will be using totally different hardware for the final rig. :thup:
