I could knock off around $10 if you wanted to assemble it yourself keeping in mind that there are almost 200 solder points and some of them have to be soldered on two different sides of the board in a psuedo surface mount fasion... Of course if you wanted something different I could work with you on that but the cost could change due to redesign of the PCB... If I just duplicate this board (minus the text saying Jaded as I am sure you wouldn't want that on it) the cost would be the same....

Oh yeah, The board is 3-5/8" x 5-7/16"

OK Twizted is getting on my case about the chaser light getting finger prints all over it, so working on the base will become priority so the light gets mounted.

The case is going to be tall enough so the new base wont be to extravagant. I cut some 1" strips of 1/4" smoked acrylic and then hooked up the routing table.




The roto tool didn't quiet get the whole edge but enough to just do a little sanding to flush out.


Now for one last test fit...The cross pieces are for mounting to the base of the case.




Now to get the design cut out on the base.

That base looks a little small, don't ya think? Also, what did you use to adhere the edges of the strips together on the base?

I never said I was done, I have a bunch of accents in the works. Just needed to secure the chaser aray so Twizted doesn't worry about it anymore.

What did you use to adhere the edges together on the frame?

Haven't decided yet, might depend on the mounting hardware for the light. It will be bolted or rivited, hell maybe both.
