Here we are again with more progress. Well after working for 12 straight days I finally got a chance to get some paint on Jaded. Unfortunatly I ran out of clear after 2 coats, no prob since i have to sand out pits and what not. This is where she sits now and waiting for the final 2 coats of clear.

Very nice looking! I only put 2 coats of clear on my case when I painted it.... it's not holding up very well as a result.

Can't wait to see the finished project!

Sweet....assemble time!!!!but first a look at the paint choice ;)

The dull spot in the center is directly under the LCD so I didn't waste the spray on it.

And the gatewatch with the flat black background and painted trim.

Yea, no kidding, from the first pic, it looks like green pearl in the paint

Very cool Lokie! Looks very clean and functional. I think I would have rather seen the AeroGate thing at the top instead of the bottom, but it still works. I still want to see some more shots of the paint job though!!!
BTW, did you paint this yourself or did you have it professionally painted somewhere?

I can paint, was part of my airframe powerplant course. Plus I spray daily but not paint.

Well, the reason I ask is because I have a case that I will need to get painted and I have neither the means nor the skill to do it and need to find someone/someplace to do it for me. I was thinking of hitting up an autobody shop or something, is that a good idea?
