| Bowser pwner. | Alrighty, sorry this is late guys! I've been eh, busy..... well not really, just having fun with the partsy's!! ![]() So yesterday at around 2pm I got the package... ![]() ![]() Goody goody! Whats inside?? ![]() 2GB Corsair Dominators.... ![]() EVGA 8800GT 512MB.... ![]() Samsung DVD Burner.... ![]() Corsair 650w Single 12v Rail PSU.... ![]() And heres all of the parts for the build!! (excluding watercooling stuff, I don't have it all yet....) Ok, so heres pics of putting all the hardware together! ![]() (NOTE: A couple of the pictures are blurry, I apologize...) ![]() Mounted the Striker Extreme onto my "almost complete" tech station... ![]() The 8800GT out of the box! Looks sweet.... ![]() The CPU latch is open.... ![]() And my proc goes in!! (QX6700) ![]() Dominators mounted!! ![]() Almost done..... ![]() Blob of ICD7 (my new favorite!! )![]() And, intel stock cooler without the fan.... I know I know, bad Parker Bad!!!! I didn't have enough money to buy an aftermarket one!!! ![]() ![]() And there we go... ![]() ![]() Thats a Vantec Tornado cooling the CPU and NB, it blows 87CFM.... very loud. Thanks RAID!!! BTW, my idle temps on all four cores is 28-30C with that fan on it. ![]() (Sorry the pic is blurry....) ![]() And there's another one of those uber loud fans, this one is pushing the cold air from the window onto the computer components. ![]() And again, here is my "almost complete" bench table, it's being held up by the new corsair PSU and an old PSU on the other side. I'm only using the Corsair one though. Very ghetto setup.... but only temporary. __________________________________________ Alright guys, heres where it gets messy... ![]() This is the BSOD I've been getting, please help me out... Heres the new thread I've started for it: Need Help!! BSOD! Edit: the link goes to the hardwarelogic main page... just click on the "Need Help!! BSOD" thread to get there. | Modder-ator | Parker, you need to make the Image Resizer Powertoy your new best friend. Check here for WindowsXP and here for Vista (32-bit only)... I know 800x600 is the maximum size, but with as many pictures as you post, 640x480 is much easier on the bandwidth... ![]() Last edited by gvblake22; March 11th, 2008 at 10:42. |

| Bowser pwner. | Oops, sorry Blake. Lol, we were both editing the post at the same time.... ![]() I was like "WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON!!!" cuz it kept changing.... But thanks for the merge and stuff! I'll resize those bigger images. Sorry for the big images, I've got a 22" so it doesn't really matter over here, but I know there are people with smaller monitors, and I'll respect that. *goes and starts resizing images...* |

| T-Rex | Super nice looking build man. One thing, you need more ICD7 than that for optimal cooling. About twice as that seems like the good amount. If you need help with the 8800GT OC'ing, I'll be around. As soon as I get my hands on a variable resistance resistor I will be posting a tutorial/"article" on how to make a totally reversible 8800GT/GTS 512MB volt mod, no soldering required on your precious card. If you got a first rev 8800GT you can also add a bit of voltage through a BIOS mod using NiBiTor (1.0v to 1.1v idle/1.1v to 1.15v load), which i'll try to cover in my little tutorial. :) |
