this is gonna be an awesome system when its finished parker.

back to teh mod itself, i think that although pin-stripes may seem cool (and is quite a cool idea), imho, it will turn out making the case look crowded and clutterd. if you want a black and orange theme, your probably better paintint the silver bit around the edges of the front orange, and the internals black. it may also look good painting the radgrillz orange too for a bit of a highlight, that may make the case as a whole look too orange tho.

nice rig otherwise, and score what a score with the freebies.

those hdds you have are awesome, i bought one for my lan computer, and they are fluffin fast for the money.

hope all turns out well

Thanks g-relk!

yea, I'm not to sure that I'm going to be able to do any pin stripping, it'll take too much work and I'd rather just paint a couple of things inside the case, and I do like that idea of painting the outer silver thing on the case orange :)

Thanks for all the suggestions!
I'm really thankful for all the people who have given me things for the build!

I can't wait to use those HD's, i've heard there fast, yet really quiet.
I didn't want to go with raptors, cuz there way to loud...

I might be getting my newegg shipment tomorrow, but most likely Saturday, and at the latest it'll be monday....
I just hope it gets here before the weekends over!! Cuz then I'll have to wait till next thursday to do anything cuz I'm so busy on monday, tuesday and wednesday...

Bad news is that Newegg's carriers don't deliver on the weekend.
They should have emailed you a tracking number, or you can find it in your account options under order status. The given date is almost always correct to the letter (just got in a shipment of case fans, right on schedule).

actually, i couldnt say that mine is that quiet. my two 320gb seagate 16mb drives in my main computer are super stealthy, and i never hear them, but you can hear the drive noise from the 500gb in my LAN box (having said that, my lan box isnt that good at getting rid of noise, being a tiny silverstone sg03 an all). drive noise doent bother me at all coz i use headphones pretty much all the time.

some items from Newegg come from Tennessee or New Jersey too so its not always close by. It usually says in the emails you get. Otherwise if it takes several days like this then they may be low on stock and takes and extra day or 2 to be delivered.

Thanks HL and Corsair!

I have seen specific items ship from different warehouses... I recently had memory come from TN and the rest of the stuff from CA.. then some speakers a few weeks ago from NJ.
It all depends on which warehouse has what...
