I got the hardware from my buddy!
All for free.

So lets start off with the CPU, It's an Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700.

if he gave it to you for free, I would be careful to make sure its not stolen... especially that ES processor which is a testing version or "Engineering Sample", not a final... thus the "confidential"... so if it dies after 2 weeks, at least you got your money out of it

Processors - How to Obtain an Engineering Sample Processor
