Look at the GTX compared to the PA120.2. The thermochill has much wider fin spacing compared to the GTX. The thermochill is optimized for low speed fans, while the GTX is made for high speed fans.
The bottom Rad is not a 240GTX, GTX240 are way thicker. You might be thinking of a black Ice Pro because the GTX is the Newest line of Black Ice rads,...

Straight from the horses mouth:

Features:

* Two-pass pre-cool/aftercool front-rear dual-core flow configuration with a 30% increase in internal flow rates.
* Custom MaxFin™ 25 micron Copper Splitter Fin Configuration utilizing 45% thinner fin material yielding up to 50% less pressure drop.
* Unique fin configuration eliminates intra-louver accumulation of dust particles for trouble free operation.
* Radically optimized 20 FPI (Fins Per Inch) fin density providing dramatically increased heat transfer surface area.
* Custom low-profile 2-row 19.0 x 1.2mm MaxFlow™ tubes with twice the waterside surface area of the GTS and 60% frontal area reduction for superior low air-resistance aerodynamics and lower internal flow requirements.
* Yields up to 45% more heat exchange capacity than the Black Ice® Xtreme in both Stealth or Performance modes.
* Achieves Black Ice® Xtreme level performance in stealth mode (low-noise/low-airflow conditions).
* M4 Threaded Screw Holes for easier mounting and greater adaptability.
* Now standard G 1/4" female threaded fittings.
* Full high-temper brass structural construction for weight reduction and superior corrosion resistance.
* High performance compact radiator compatible as an upgrade to the Black Ice® Xtreme 2 and most 240mm form factor radiators.
* Uses 100% Non-corrosive water-solluble fluxing process.
* Fully RoHS compliant.
* Full electrostatic polyurethane painting finish for uniform coating with high temperature curing for increased finish durability.

In the DIY computer parts business you get what you pay for, this 240mm rad cost 96.00...

I'm sitting here right now with my hand feeling the air coming through the radiator, and it feels like there is no radiator even there with the amount of air coming through it.

Oh, hmm, I guess I was thinking of a different rad. So is the thickness comparable to the Thermochills? And could you maybe get some close ups of the rad?

I can't get a hold of the camera now but tomorrow I will. For now I can tell you that the GTX 240 is 11" long, 2" deep(without fans) and 7" wide.

The main reason I bought the 240GTX is because Black Ice rads have always been good to me, never once leaked, corroded or anything and are built very well.. Second, it's guaranteed to fit the torture rack. It might not be the BEST radiator out there but it sure as well is up there with the the best.

The goal of this WC setup was to be silent and far better than ACing. I took 1 fan off the rad and the temp on my CPU rose about 1 degree. It's only cooling the CPU(quad-core Xeon). From a TRUE My load temp @ 3.3GHZ went down 15 degrees.

I can't wait to get the E8400 and OC the SNOT out of it under this loop.

So you aren't looking to part with you're old tech station then? (i'm just asking again, because i've become intrigued by this... but buying one new is a little spendy right now...)

As we've explained to you before, there is a difference between "I've experience", "I've heard", and "I've read".

Linking that piece explains some.....but I'm going to be real honest and say I've used several different radiators without much real difference in operation or performance at all.

Was that directed at me? Because I've had Blake so handily explain that to me before... and oh yes, I do remember...
