You could always try detaching the GPU block (but leaving it connected to the loop) and putting the stock cooler on it and see if your temps drop significantly.

well i'll keep that it mind, but none the less the setup was running for 2 hours idle
only watching movies, and the latest temp is

CPU 35-39C
GPU 36C

this temp with the GPU totally drop to 36C from regularHSF temp of 50C was amazing.
so its really with no doubt that my CPU is running hot for some reason. the only reason i can think right now it may have taken a damage from the short of my DS3-965P and also
the ECS 680i shorted not long ago...

well what up with the bios CPU temp is that really inaccurate? i'm getting 19-35C every
time i check the bios temp?

and in any case i might save some cash in next 6 months and upgrade my chasis to a
full tower then change my CPU to probably Quad if its cheaper by that time...
any suggestion on a full tower chasis? whether or not i can fit it in my budget i will
try to find a way to upgrade, its just the Enthusiast Itch we all have talking here...

thanks all for the help, H2O is fun... i wonder if its more fun to have a separate H2O
one for CPU one for GPU, i wonder if that will shoot the temp down??? i'm trying to
brainstorm some idea on what to do next with my rig.

edit:

i just found out the EIST was disabled in the Bios so i gave it a shot and look what happened:

wow that means that CPU is forcing itself to run at higher clock at the expense of greater temp...

About an individual loop for the CPU and one for the GPU, that would lower temps of both the CPU and GPU, but the cost of a whole other loop is hardly worth it.
