Well, there is no reason in pumping 3.0v through your RAM if it is only doing 2-3-3-8! It's kindof all or nothing with the OCZ VX RAM. If you have the RAM timings set to auto, just leave it at like 2.6v-2.7v. But if you want the 2-2-2-8 timings, then you have to go up to at least 3.0v-3.2v for it to be stable.

Run Memtest86+ and see if the RAM is stable....

Yeah, the higher voltages will definitely shortenn the lifespan of your modules.
Considering where you are, I'd think 2.7-2.8V would be fine

umm. 240 * 9 is stable for me. However. I can't drop my 3.0 DRAM voltz down otherwise i recieve the blue or black screens of death. I can get 245 * 9 if i change my DRAM volts to 3.1 adn my cpu volts slightly higher. However this is not stable adn crashes after it loads windows. SO i tihnk i'm gonna need a differnt cpu to ram ratio. Lower than 1 : 1

good idea. i had to drop mine at around 230 fsb. im currently at 240 now. be sure to test it at every 5 mhz.

Use Prime 95, Memtest86 (needs to be burned, .iso file), and 32m SuperPi.

WOOT Through intensive calculations and logical thinking, i was able to get my fsb to 260. My HTT multi is now 4.0 and equals 1040. Just a lil over the limit. IOT works at 2340 mhz now!. I should be able to max it out at 265 fsb before needing to lower my divider again. MY temps still look great. 25 idle without folding. However, i hitnk i'm gonna call it quites for ahile, until i bring it over to tyreal's for a quite heatsink mod and installation of my new sunbeam fan controller.

justin, for stability sake, you should just lower your LDT multiplier to 3x. I guaruntee you will not see a performance hit from having the HT bus at 780mhz instead of 1040mhz.
But you can do whatever you want I guess :P
