Haha yeah... I just turned 16 on Sunday. I don't have a job or anything yet. Or a car for that matter. I'm gonna get a job in the summer. I need money. I don't have an allowance or anything either, so no way there.

Yeah, I figured drywall stuff wouldn't work to well... :)

I wonder if there are other things that'll work that are normal household products (or other stuff).

Now that is a good idea. I was thinking about that while I was cutting the other day. I have a boatload of wood in my basement. I should give that a try. Then just stain it a cherry color. That would be classy.

I think I'll start on it right now. It would be a lot easier if I had a band saw... oh well. That's what makes me a ghetto-rigger.

Well, if you just held it together with gorilla glue on the inside and then filled in the cracks on the outside with some drywall spackle or something, you could probably just sand it all down and then once you put paint over it all you probably wouldn't even notice!

Well, I finished making the wood one. And I have to admit. It looks GREAT! I meant to use the other side of the backstand to show in front, but the current side looks a lot better. I still have to glue it and stain it.

On another note, should I glue it or nail it too? I'm going to just glue it first anyways. And an another note: it still doesn't plug w/ the dock connector, but that's OK. This is for sitting in my room. Plus, there's no USB port nearby.

OH NICELY DONE!!! That looks very good. I say just use glue. There's not going to be any high pressures going on that thing and you won't be able to see glue.
