What the BTX and TDX blocks have in common is the "Jet" inserts that can fine tune the water inlet.
Weren't those blocks shipped with 5 different heads that varied the flow through the block?

That is the same....I still to this day haven't found any one that had any luck with any other than none or the wide open insert (I called em jets).

They even sent one as a solid piece, so you could create your own.

Yeah, I actually tested them all at one point....I think insert #3 showed like a 2C improvement, but nothing was worth pulling the block apart and risking a leak.

Other than PolarFLO, DD is really the only company left, unless you count Swiftech....and I just don't recommend their kits to anyone unless you are really experienced at installing cooling kits.

OOHHH, ok, that makes sense. Between yours and Bailey's explanations it finally all clicked in my head. I can see how connecting the two outlets to a res with more than one inlet would work well.
So just to see if I have this straight, the ideal setup with that block would be:

Pump--Radiator--CPU block==Reservoir--Pump
(where -- is a single tube and == is a double tube)

OK, to clear this up a bit. The single tube is the un tube. That brings the cold wter right to the center of the chip. Then the warm water exits through the 2 outside ports that will later become 1 tube, IE the koolance block. Yes, the water goes from the CPU to the GPU, and it still runs at 30C under load of Rainbow Six Vegas. If you notice, i have a dual fan card in a PCI slot that blows up into the heat sinks for the Video Card.

My system is much better looking now that its cleaned.

Sorry for any misunderstanding on my part. I was just trying to put the block in laymans terms. Bailey.

Wow I really like your case. It looks like the reserator is built in? Sweet. You think you'll ever add the chipset to the WC? Would be a lot quieter w/o the fan running.

I only plan on adding another GPU to the loop. But, till Crysis comes out, i really have no need. The chipset fan is pretty quite as it is, but compared to my last system which has 10 fans, i forget this one is running.

Yes the cooling system is built into the case. Its the reason i bought the case because i knew i wouldn't have to fight placement of the radiator, and pump.
