why don't you use anti-freeze like cars do?

Coolant is the liquid that is inside the loop or the flowing through the tubes. People most commonly use a mixture of distilled water and anti-freeze as a coolant. People also often sbustitute a different liquid than anti-freeze such as Zerez or Water Wetter to increase thermal efficiency.

It does look pretty cool and I might try it some time. Unfortunately I do not like to constantly tweak and maintain cooling or an overclock in a rig. This is also the machine were I test hardware so I like to keep things 100% stable.

Let me think... i'll estimate his setup...

the radiator would be approximately 40 dollars.
Panaflo high speed maybe 10 dollars
The tubing which im assuming is tygon would be only 3-5 dollars.
the cpu block probably 40-50 dollars
Pump wold be..... 25-30 dollars.
Any other blocks would be around 30 dollars.
Oh and the fillport would be 10-20

Lets see how close i get....

I really like the fill=pot over a traditional res....much easier to fill and much easier to find a place for

As long as you secure it...
thats the other thing too, if you don't run your loop through a proper leak test you run the risk of springing a leak and killing all your components.

I guess being a hardcore w/c enthusiasts has its pluses and minuses. :D
