Me thinks you mean oxygen acetelyne unless you want to send Yellow to the promissed land.

Actually a plain jane torch like a simple propane torch will work fine. The problem I see with a lighter is limited span of the heat, however worth a try if you just want to bevel a few corners. As mentioned, use a test piece to get a feel for things.

Be careful! You get plexi hot and touch it likes to stick to you so just be careful messing with this shit!

Additionally sanding will work.

Yes true but its not the best way. Like i said use a small handheld torch and feed it with a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen gas mixture. I do mean hydrogen.

Your best bet would be to hire a torch those things aint cheap.

You really don't need to bother with the flame polishing. I've never tried it, but I can imagine it would be pretty difficult. Just start by sanding it with some 300 or 400 grit to get rid of the saw marks, then finish it up with some 800 or even 1000 grit sandpaper and it will look great.

I'm not quite done with this project yet. I plan on sanding the edges of the plexi, (like Blake said), and getting some flat aluminum bar to make braces for the corners, as the station is still very unstable and wobbles a hell of a lot. I also plan on replacing all the screws and bolts with rivets, but that's pretty far in the future. I'll be sure to update you guys on any changes I may make, with pictures.

Also, since my PC didn't sell (locally or Ebay) I'll be taking the motherboard out of it to make the holes for the standoffs, and the measurements for where the PCI card support bracket will be.

Be sure to watch this project closely! I'll be pretty good by the end!

Update time! I got around to breaking down my build so I could measure the holes for the motherboard tray. In addition I got my reservoir out and found a place to mount it:

It's secured like this:

...And also made some measurements for the PCI card holder:

...Random pics of my motherboard, GPU and sound card (a Creative Audigy):

BTW, that wooden crate is my temporary tech station...

And on the real tech station:

And some more random pics:

So all I have to do now is get some standoffs for the motherboard and make the PCI card holder and find a place for the rad and pump and sand the plexi and...

Pretty snazzy way you got the pump set up, Yellow. It's shaping out really well.

I think you mean res... but thanks anyway.

I'll probably have the pump on the lower section, but I'm undecided on were the rad should go... Thoughts?
