Excuse me, but there is three pictures and I'll start cutting once I can borrow a Dremel from my friend and get a metal bit from the store and once I have enough money for the metal bit in the store.

Rofl. He has a point YH. You've moved yourself into the high-roller category. Seriously though, you can pick up a roll of that stuff at a local hardware stroe for about 3-4 bucks, and it'll make it look really professional. Sure, you could use tape, and no one would even see it if they weren't looking, but it's all about the details man. Either way, it's your case, so it's your call, gonna be badass either way.

I've had good luck with the fiberglass reinforced cutting wheels for cutting both steel and aluminum alike. Get the package with several disks in it though, they wear down and often break so you will need more than one.

And don't forget to wear eye protection!!! Seriously man, those sparks and metal bits fly everywhere at high speeds and you WILL get something in your eye if you don't wear safety glasses!!

Those never work for me. They always end up flying off.

What do you use? You have to be really gentle with the cutoff disks or else yeah, they will break and fly off on ya.

Yeah, they do tend to go fast, I went through 2 of them last night cutting on mine. Should last a bit longer cutting aluminum though.

OK, more pics.

Used a 3.5in hole saw (yeah, small, but I can make it larger with tin snips). I did a HORRIBLE job. I borrowed the drill, as well as the hole saw. One of the holes is even off center. Pretty sure I destoyed a perectly good case. You've just witnessed a murder of an innocent computer case.

HAHAHA, looks like a good start, but it looks like it is actually good thing you used the small holesaw... Now that you messed up you can file away at the holes to make them the right size and take out all the scuffs and scratches. I would not use tin snips though, get yourself a dremel, jig saw, or half-round bastard file and the holes will look great when you are done. Just make sure not to make the holes TOO big! You can always cut more away but you can't put the material back!
