OOHH, a Fatal1ty board eh? I bet your FPS gaming skill will double (or even triple) as soon as that baby is up and running!

Kidding aside, it does look like a nice board. Should go nicely with the rest of your red theme

I have to admit though, I just love shopping for parts.

And it's an abit fp-in9 sli board, I'll try and get some pics up later.
I know what you mean. Happens sometimes that I just surf e-tailers to see what's new and maybe buy something... :P

EDIT: Hmmm, I think the biggest indicator of how my case is quieter is my gpu's fan speed... before, I had it running at about 60-70% (don't forget the exact number... i think it was around 70 though), and I couldn't hear it over everything else, but now I have to have it around 50% to keep it quiet, lol.
cool cars! Love the Packers semi.... anytime the wife or I see a good deal on Packers stuff we pick it up

Thanks HL and Corsair!

Yeah, that whole wall is covered with cars, and I have a bunch more model cars and tanks and planes in my room, lol.

But anyways, my room is a mess right now, it's got 5 partially assembled computers strewn about it, on top of the guitars and books and stuff that make it a mess to begin with.

But the good news is that the abit board looks to be running nicely, I pretty much gutted my computer that's sitting in the antec case, and just threw together what will be in my room on my new homemade tech station (aka a motherboard box and a shelf). Installing xp on it right now. So this abit board, the e6300, 2 7600gt's, and the 4 gigs of mushkin ram are going to be going into the clear case that's in my room, along with my 700w fsp epsilon (only psu I have with an 8 pin cpu plug, lol.) I'm debating resleeving that psu, since the cpu plug got messed pretty good from when I had it running under my mobo... And I also really want to water cool that clear case now, at least the cpu, maybe the cpu and northbridge. I'm gonna have to price that out at work tonight.

I'm also thinking about getting a p35 mobo to go along with the new cpu and ram that I want for my good computer, so I'm gonna price that out too tonight.

Also, this computer in my room is going to be used primarily for racing games, since I have a bunch that just don't work well with vista. I figure 4 gigs of ram, an e6300, and 2 7600gt's should be able to handle gtr2 (that and my momo racing wheel just doesnt work well with my downstairs desk).

Anyways, I might have a few parts to sell here soon... we'll see about that tomorrow, probably.

Also, I have some pics of my mobo and my ghetto tech station, I just need to upload them here, lol.

And oh yeah, GO PACKERS! WOOHOOO!

That's a pretty accurate statement

Setup looks good. Petra's Tech Shop has great WC kits. I generally recommend you stay away from kits, but the PTS kits uses quality parts.

Yeah, I've been looking at the one kit here: Petra's Tech Shop

It looks like it would still need a resevoir (I really want one even if I don't NEED one, it'd look cool in my clear case)

I just need to get the money for it... gonna try selling some stuff here, I think. Maybe sleeving some psu's for cash/parts, lol.

Yeah, if you go with that kit, I'd definitely spurge and get the Apogee GT CPU water block, and the Swiftech MCR-120 rad. I've had great experiences with the Apogee GT WB and the MCR series rads. And here is a good, cheap res.

Yeah, i think the biggest problem with all of this is the fact that my clear case doesn't have any 120mm fan openings, so I'll have to work something up for that.

Definatly saving up for all this... hopefully I can sell some stuff and this next paycheck I'll have the money for the ram, cpu, watercooling kit, and a few leds.

In the mean time I'll spend some money on model paint and get my case all prepped. Still rethinking what i'm going to do paint wise though...
