Newegg's been ok for me, nothing bad, nothing amazing. I prefer using zzf for power supplies though, they just seem to have better deals on the ones I want there. Also had an 8400 ordered from there, since the egg didnt have them in stock.

You have to keep in mind though that Newegg is not personally delivering these packages, it is really the fault of FedEx or UPS if something is busted up.

Exactly, the only thing you could blame on Newegg is the packaging. They have always packed my items real well. The package I got from them yesterday had more peanuts in the box then a circus.

And that's the problem. The packaging was horrible. I bought a UPS and it fell out of the bottom of the box during shipping. It was pretty damned heavy and the only thing holding the bottom together was the cardboard itself, no stables, glue or anything.

No I didn't you were just unclear, but I do know that staples and glue are not used for securing boxes for shipping, only tape is used.

This isn't true. I've had packages from Newegg that used box staples on the bottom to secure the package.

Doesn't really matter who's at fault, you didn't know what I meant, that was the point :P

And I know they use staples. Stapler used for securing boxes for shipping:

Someone told me that they sometimes used glue for shipping, but I've never seen it.
