Had the exact same experience with a MX518 a year or so ago, very pleasant to deal with. Which number did you call btw, I need to call them to RMA another item.

i had to rma a wireless logitech keyboard/mouse combo last year. the bluetooth sensor just stopped working. for some reason, i couldn't find the receipt and the serial number on the keyboard had worn off. so here i was talking to logitech support telling them i had no proof of purchase or serial number of the keyboard. they still let me return it and sent me a brand new keyboard/mouse combo. i thought that was awesome.

I don't know about others here, but I like logitech.
They've always given great customer support.
I get most of my logitech stuff for free though, I know a guy who works there

So I guess it's a little different from my perspective...

Hahaha... actually, my dad just got the new diNovo with mouse from the guy.... it's fr1k1n sweet!!!
He's giving my little sis (12) his old MX5000...
I've got Apple's new totally sweet flat keyboard that I absolutely LOVE!!!!
omi gosh.....

Oh.... not to brag or anything.....
