| Colonel Calamity | yeah there is a TJMax and craft store next to the CC here so thats pretty much the main reason I go to the CC locally. Last thing I bought was probably 2-3 years ago, the $8 xD card reader for our camera. ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. |

| I guess it depends on the store. From my experience, I would totally disagree. Not that I can think of ANY retail store that has really good customer service, I consider CC 10 times better than BB. |

| I've had bad experiences with best buy. They seem to have a defensive attitude if you have a problem. I only shop there if something is on sale and I know I won't need to go to them about it later. |

| Level 2 College Student | LOL! I didn't want to post cuz its 3 weeks old, but I just had to after it was bumped. This is the most hilarious thing I've read about Best Buy in a while. It just makes me glad that the comments I read consisted of things like "This is why I don't go to best buy" and others of the sort. I would have not left the premises until Lord Brian gave me his full name and employee number. |

| oh noes | Mmmm, I like my local bestbuy, but they're also really good about listening to the customer... ie, if you say that something is price x online, even if it's an online only sale they've always been really quick about ringing up the cheaper price for me... normally don't even double check the price, they just trust you or something, lol. (and my bestbuy has awesome clearences, lol... if you wait long enough you can normally find stuff much cheaper then you'd get on newegg or whatnot... ). But I think I'm just lucky like that...and the fact that my bestbuy is in a smaller city and whatnot. | My god... were these BB employees serious? In our store (CC), the in-store advertisements take first stand. If the tags are wrong, the customer benefits and we have to honor that price. It's happened many times. All we have to do is honor the price for that customer, then remove all those tags that say that old promotion tag. This barely even has to run by the supervisor level. | C'mon guys, lets let it die. Granted, it was only 3 weeks old when like Lazarus it arose from the dead but it was pretty well covered and really did need a nice quiet death. When we get new visitors the focal point is the last 10 threads. Frequently bumping a thread like this pushes a newer thread off the list. | I work at Wal-Mart, let me put it this way. If any of our associates or god forbid our managers were to ever treat a customer this way, they would be fired on the spot and asked to leave the premises. Best Buy has always had a smug, "We don't care, go away" attitude, and that is the major reason I never buy anything from them. The only good they are is when I want to buy a new mouse, I got fondle all their hardware and walk out laughing my butt off. <EDIT> Edited for content (language): Offensive Language or Content Just don't do it.... This is a family friendly site, if you need help with that stuff....theres plenty of other sites on the web. Respect other people's beliefs and lifestyle....we can't all be perfect like you. Two subjects that typically start problems are politics and religion (They have nothing to do with anything on this site, so that shouldn't be a problem). There are plenty of websites dedicated to politics and religion, if you need to discuss them, Google it and post your opinion there. I do like debate, I do want us to stay active and things like news items that are interesting or important are perfectly fine. The "Support Experience" is for posting good and bad experiences with retailers. Meaning it is a pretty much open forum area for all guest to read.
