Yea the icons were small but using icon packager I could adjust them. The main pain was web pages. I could adjust their size but I had to do it for every page and they don't stay that way. Thats why I went back to 1024x768.

That NEC is a hell of a great monitor. One of the "flat" CRT ones as the curve was removed. Matter of perspective, back around 2000 those monitors had a cost of $1,000 same as the Trinitrons I still have. The only downside is the 65 to 70 pounds they weigh. My brother is still using that NEC.

Despite the fact they sit here unused I don't have the heart to place them on the treelawn. Matter of fact, if anyone is near the Cleveland, Ohio area and wants one of them let me know. Free to a good home for pickup only!

Ron

It would be hard to go back to my small LCD now. The wife's work is replacing these and I bet these were in the design department. Sweet for free.

wow, these 22" LCD's sound like a distant dream. Im using a 19" HP 91 CRT I got for £2.20 ($4) off ebay. I should have included a nice monitor in the original budget.
