| T-Rex | Acer, Dell, Samsung, Viewsonic and LG are renowed brands I don't get too much RMA. Viewsonic is strangely enough the brand I get the most RMA. LG is the brand I sell the most. I bought an Acer AL2216WBD, 22inch widescreen WUXGA+ and I have to say it's very nice. Clean sharp image, DVI & VGA, easy to navigate OSD. Not very expensive when comparing with several other maybe more popular brands of LCD with the same specifications. (BenQ, Viewsonic and Samsung) I know they're currently pushing their apparently new model, the AL2223WBD for cheaper with even better specs (800:1 contrast ratio instead of 700:1) Only downside to it would be no HDMI, though to be very honest I don't see how that would be a problem, because DVI is essentialy the same quality than HDMI. |

| Modder-ator | The thing about HDMI is that it is the new standard that will be (I think) required for HDCP compliancy. So if you are like me and hope to keep your next monitor purchase for at least 4-5 years, then I say it would be a good thing to have HDMI. At least that is where I stand at the moment, just waiting for a good HDMI monitor to come out that doesn't cost over $500. |
