| Hey guys. Sorry for the double post, but its been a while and the thread fell down the hole. I decided to go with a new mouse: Razer Copperhead and some fans. I am listening to my music on my Dell and doing stuff as normal and I have my music on at my normal volume. This is the loudest volume I can use without upsetting my mom and stepdad in the next room :( I have the Raidmax case with the Raidmax fans (1x 120mm and 3x 80mm) turned on for the past 30minutes or so and I noticed I can't hear some of the lyrics. Especially in the quieter, slow jpop songs. So, this is why I decided to go with better fans. I think I will leave the 120mm fans and replace the 80mm fans since they seem to be the loudest. I checked out the fans you guys suggested and they seem to have a pretty high dB level compared to their CFM output. I was looking on NewEgg and I bumped into this lot: Newegg.com - COOLER MASTER SAF-S83-E1 80mm Case Fan - Retail It is a 6 fan lot of CoolerMaster SAF-S83-E1 80mm fans. They seem pretty good for their price of $10! Heres the CFM and dB levels: Air Flow 28.89 CFM Noise Level 24.4 dBA What you think? Think they will be quieter than my Raidmax fans? Does anyone actually know what the dB level is on the Raidmax fans? I have the black ones with Raidmax sticker over the center (its probably covering the model number and some specs =/). EDIT: I also noticed with the fans turned on, my room is really cold >_< Especially my left arm which is closest to the fans. Thanks guys! -robodude666 |

I already have the: Newegg.com - Logitech 980356-0403 USB Connector Circumaural Headset 250 - Retail But I wanted something better and more comfortable. They hurt my ears if I play longer than 5 hours >_<'' And when in the middle of a shoot out, the last thing you want to do is remove your mouse hand from the mouse to adjust your headset thats falling off or burning your ear! Which I have done several times... And survived! ![]()

| You could do like Pandaman and rig up a nice set of headphones with a mic using bailing wire and electrical tape. You'd think he grew up in a ghetto. |

For now, I can live with my current speakers, headset, and keyboard. I will get a new mouse so I can headshot people better, and quieter fans so my head won't blow up from the BSHHHHHHHH the Raidmax fans make X_x

Worked alot better than you would think. For the mouse, might I recommend going with a Logitech G5? Its uberly-nice, and comes with a weight system so you can adjust the weight and other aspects of the mouse. Its incredibly accurate and ergonomic. Plus the on the fly resolution changing is awesome, gives you 51% more headshots in CS:S. And of course the sidescrolling is nice :D Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 Conroe @ 2.80GHz Cooler Master GeminII - Thanks Rich and HL! I think I will stick with the copperhead. I like its looks more and its not that much more expensive. Weights? Is there really a need for them? Just get the razer eXactmat with the speed/control side and youl be fine. Plus, your not going to be changing weights in the middle of a match :s
