| Wish I could do a system restore... but there doesn't seem to be one available (???) I will try to reinstall the USB 2.0 drivers from the motherboard as you suggested. However, do you mean physically remove them from the device manager? |

| No, I did what you suggested... and got the original "good" hd back... with 1 UB Mass Storage Device listed in Device Manager.... but nothing from the other two I'm afraid that this may be my only solution... Western Digital MyBook Open Case Recover Data at Scott Cramer wrote this. Edit: I think the light not going on suggests that (as the author says) the power or the USB on these 2 "bad" devices may be the issue Last edited by mrr2534; March 30th, 2008 at 15:51. |
