| I have wondered the same. For my part I got an U3 4G USB stick instead. For those that are not familiar with the U3 concept: Whne iserted, the USB stick give you TWO new "removable storages" in My computer. One "Disk" for storing files like any other USB flashdrive/stick, and one "CD-Drive" that shows it is loaded with the CD "U3" (Naturally you can't change this CD, and ejecting it does nothing other thna temprarily remove the drive untill you put the U3 USB stick back into the USB port again.) Now the question is how this "CD" works. Obviosuly it is a CD-emulation of some sorton the U3 USB stick, but it does not require you to have any software pre-installed (Like Daemon-Tools) and tohugh the "CD" is only on 5,4 MB it acts like a normal CD as to behaviour on autorun and for how Windows treats it. What I would like to do is pretty much the same as "computer_freak_8". I want to put the image of a CD onto a "viritual CD drive" like the drive you see in U3, on a USB stick without U3. Only in my case it will be an image at 700MB. And why do i want that instead of jsut stuffing the files in a folder, or adding auto-run to the flash-drive? -Becasue this CD is an old game I would like to have mooved onto an USB stick. I have tried it before and it worked fine by just moving the game-files, but in that case the music was missing. I discovered that this was becasue the music for the game is saved as CD-tracks on the original CD. So then I tried moving an ISO on the USB stick, and using Daemon tools on the host PC to emulate a CD-drive and run the game from this, and ta-ta, the audio worked too, from the emulated CD-drive on the host PC. But then I came to think of the U3 "CD drive", and figured, if I could just print the image of the Game-ISO to a drive like that, i could forget all about Daemon tools, and would not have to set up an emulation and install Daemon tools for every/any PC I wanted to run the game on. The quesiton is just *HOW* do I set up a "CD-Partition" on a USB stick? (Alternatively how do i load an CD-image onto a CD partition, (once I figure out how to make that) on a USB-stick?) I read somewhere that CD's have the partition format of CDA (or somesuch) and that there was some partition-managers that could make partitons in this format too, but I can't remeber what the name was, so if anyone know of this please say too? | The Umptool program has a "Worm" virus in it. Didn't you know that? Ran it in a sandbox and it is infected if not directly designed to mess up your PC.
