My best opinion.....is BOSE...spend the $ one time and be done wiff it.
Computer Speakers - Computer MusicMonitor - Companion Multimedia Speaker Systems

Top of the line sound solution, with the best warranties going.....but you WILL pay for it.

I'm sorry, but BOSE is garbage. Cheaply made products, they counter act their crappy sound with tons of bass to make it appear to sound good, but you have no idea what you are missing compared to other sound systems. Bose uses marketing tactics and high prices to make their stuff look good. Look it up, BOSE is almost universally hated.

If space is not a limitation, you can pick up a 5.1 surround sound receiver with decent watts per channel from ebay, and some two or three way speakers(so you wouldn't need a sub for the most part) from ebay, thrift shops, etc..A custom system like that would blow any logitech, creative system out of the water, the problem though you need to do a lot of research (as I've quickly found out with my own system I'm trying to build), and if something goes wrong, you can't just send it back to the manufacture, espeically if you buy your stuff 2nd hand.

Either way though, the Logitechs and Creatives are fine systems.

I have to agree with the Bose not being a very good speaker. For the price you pay you can get something that sounds a million times better, and still have money in your pocket. Low cost good sounding speakers are not hard to find go here Speakers - AVS Forum for some great recommendations and an education on what speakers are good and which ones blose.

I would rather read a NewEgg review than a [H] review
