If space is not a limitation, you can pick up a 5.1 surround sound receiver with decent watts per channel from ebay, and some two or three way speakers(so you wouldn't need a sub for the most part) from ebay, thrift shops, etc..A custom system like that would blow any logitech, creative system out of the water, the problem though you need to do a lot of research (as I've quickly found out with my own system I'm trying to build), and if something goes wrong, you can't just send it back to the manufacture, espeically if you buy your stuff 2nd hand.
Either way though, the Logitechs and Creatives are fine systems. Opteron 64 165--1.5GB DDR--ECS KA1 MVP(thanks HL!)--x1800GTO 256MB--Seagate 320GB SATA--Antec 550 Watt--Antec P180 |
