We have X-230's at work. They've been on for over a year. Though they usually play elevator or 80'ies music, they're still open 24/7

Do you have the sub plugged into a power strip? A good one? Some times you can get a ground loop effect, this is cause by the sub picking up the electric current from other things and dirty electricity. Try plugging the sub into another outlet. Or maybe your sub is just not very good.
Just some tips, if none of these work, turn your music up louder and forget about it.
