If so, I only run SP1 because I hate Micro$oft nosing around on my computer telling me what I should and shouldn't be doing :evil:
I have Zone Alarm, AntiVir, and my common sense to handle all that...

There really is no point on running SP2. Go get a decent firewall and antivirus, as well as some tweaks here and there and you save yourself space, and the peering eye of a monster corporation.

@ OP: you're gonna love the X-Fi. So long as your speakers are not shot out, music will sound fantastic coming from the X-Fi. If you game, you're gonna see even more performance gains.

When buying my last speakers, I went cheap to save the $75.00 and bought the Z 5300E 5.1 instead of 5500. These 5300e turned out to be powerfull as hell. I mean playing BF:2, artillery strike sound deafening realistic. My entire house(2stories 4bdrm) rumbles. The 5500 I can only imagine. This is of course with an X-Fi card.

It's so hard for me to resist the temptation of buying one. I am only using 2.1 speakers right now which aren't exactly the greatest. Soon, when I move my computer somewhere with more room, I'll get a 5.1 speaker setup.

@RangerXLT8: who's OP?
