Razor makes a mouse with a very similar design to the Copperhead but without the side buttons. I think it's called the Krait.

And thanks for the info Paul, I'll have to look into that mouse, I'm in the market. How is the weight of it? Obviously probably lighter than the G7, but how much? Noticeable? I'm looking for an extremely light weight mouse...

I don't like the scroll wheel on the G7 either, but it's because of the tilt function. It took a long while to get the hang of simply clicking instead of tilting it to one side or the other, which it seems to want to do.
Somehow that's not a problem for me, but the wheel click is. I use it often on the internet for new tabs and sometimes it scroll instead of opening in a new tab, gets annoying. The button placement on the copperhead is a bit different, nice for me though.

I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal.

VERY noticeable - that's the first thing I noticed about the Copperhead, was the lightweight design, as I had become accustomed to the hefty G7.

Bah! What's up with you and outdoor photography for all your reviews?! Real computer geeks do everything from the safety of their basement! :P

Seriously though, well done, it was a good read. :thumleft: Although I can't quite see how you like the G7 better.

Sweet. I've gotta stop asking so many questions because you keep giving me answers I want to hear and making me want a new mouse more and more! :P  :?

Wireless, top buttons are easier to access/click and feel more intuitive, more comfortable for right handers (which I'm one of them), and on a side note, Logitech's customer service is really second to none. Those would be my reasons for preferring the G7...

I myself prefer wired to wireless, i've been in too many lanpartys in which we were very close and even though they tell you it's not a problem to be around other wireless users, it's not true. =|
I prefer the weight of the G7 though, i've set my G5 slightly lighter but that's about it.

I prefer wired over wireless too. I'm currently using a Loogitech G5 (which while a great mouse hasn't improved my CSS gaming)....I'm a huge fan of Razer mice...they are extremely comfortable, and work flawlessly...I'd have never given up my Diamondback had the cord not accidently gotten cut while I was moving my computer desk
