If you can find one, Thanko makes the quietest keyboard in the whole world.

I was at Best Buy a couple nights ago and managed to try out a Logitech MX3200 and the thing is AMAZING. The keys are about half the hight of normal keyboards but still only have a little less travel and the thing is super quiet and feels really solid. If you get that one and it is too loud for you, then I don't think you will be happy with anything!

No noise, no moving parts... too bad it's designed for phones and BlackBerrys.
-- Oh, and it is nearly $200.

Well then you have my recommendation to order the MX3200 if you are looking for a quiet keyboard!

I personally use the new Microsoft (insert Bill G. jokes here) natural 4000. This is much quieter than the previous models and is extremely comfortable. So my .02 is if you ever are looking for a natural keyboard, the 4000 is defiantly one to check out.

I would have suggested you go to a Best Buy and actually check out a couple of models to see which one suits your needs. Edit: I see you didn't live near one...my bad. Note to self read all of the thread first...dumass
