| have you gotten the keyboard as yet?? was gonna recommend the Logitch DiNovo Media desktop, it got laptop style keys and is basically silent and will not make a sound no matter how hard you stomp on the keys. | yea it is i love mine to death. it could be a bit quieter, but it's logitech quality. a little bit more noise for a much nicer keyboard, (no, that doesn't mean it's loud = ) ) |

| That's funny because my old Logitech keyboard was NOT quiet at all. Of course, I spent $15 for it. IMHO, sub-$30 keyboards are going to be mediocre in quality. Anyway, I LOVE my Microsoft Natural 4000. Comfortable, quiet, responsive.. I got it cheap for $35 too. :) Opty 165 @ 2746 MHz (305x9, 1.32V) Stock cooler | DFI nF4 LanParty Ultra-D | G.Skill DDR500 3-3-2-7 2x1GB | NEC 3540A | MSI X800 XL (Stock) | Antec Super LanBoy | Antec SmartPower 2.0 500W | WDC 800JB + Seagate 7200.9 400GB (IDE) | Logitech MX510 | In need of upgrading: Samsung SyncMaster 955DF |

| Functional Alcoholic | I suggest going to a store like best buy, CompUSA or Fry's and try out the keyboards they have there. Thats the only way you will know for sure if they are quiet enough. Once you find one you like you can always buy it online if it's cheaper. Doesn't sound like you want a quiet Keyboard sounds like you want a silent one. |
