i got the Barracuda - but like One was saying, the bass is a little low for the 5.1 sound. It doesn't bother me too much though. They are pretty comfortable for their size, and the mic is nice since it can swivel...my father loves them as well, and he has had them longer than i have. i'll be hooking them up to my receiver instead of directly out of my soundcard now anyways...hopefully, there will be a big difference with the bass...

Alright so i'm looking at these two then
Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more!
The sinehiser, does it give any surround sound? or just really good sound in general?
And Newegg.com - Logitech 980240-0403 Black 3.5mm Connector Desktop Microphone

I dont know about surround, but man they sound great. Those sennheisers are just headphones? I didnt seee a mic on them. Newegg.com - SENNHEISER PC151 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Headset
I have these and they have worked well for ~ a year now.Newegg.com - SENNHEISER PMX70 Sport 3.5 mm right-angled stereo mini-jack plug Connector Earbud Rugged stereo neckband headphones
I also have these and they work great when I work out, no slipping or falling out of my ear.

I would rather read a NewEgg review than a [H] review

Alright thoese look like a good deal! Newegg.com - SENNHEISER PC151 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Headset
So what i'm curious about is, why is it better to use the 3.5mm connection to a usb? i was under the impression that USB mic/ headphones were far superior?

the USB connection messes with Windows sound settings so that half the time you can't use the speakers with the USB setup plugged in... it is partially fixed in Vista but is still a major problem in XP and older...

Thanks HL and Corsair!

Dude stop tempting me, since I poked around this thread I've been wanting to get some headphones and a mic, even if I got both. XD

If there is a final hour, let's hope for a higher power. One by one, and two by two, I have ammo, what about you?
